INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF MIGRATION (IOM) ADDRESSES THE NEEDS OF VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN AFGHANISTAN BY ENGAGING COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN THE DESIGN OF INTERVENTIONS AND THROUGH A FEEDBACK LOOP. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY ESTABLISHING COMMUNITY STRUCTURES THAT ARE COMPOSED OF MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS WILLING TO WORK TO ENHANCE THE WELFARE OF THEIR FELLOW CITIZENS, AS WELL AS INCLUDING THE VIEWS OF WOMEN AND YOUTH THROUGH THE APPOINTMENT OF DEDICATED REPRESENTATIVES.
